Learn family-tested strategies
Our Road Map® Series curricula offer step-by-step strategies for getting better services and support in any system. Created by special needs parents together with a task force of health and education specialists, Family Road Map and Young Adult Road Map (available as print and e-book resources, e-learning modules, and live training experiences) offer practical strategies that focus first on carefully examining functional strengths. Why? Because strengths + services and supports = solutions to problems.
Follow the Guiding Star
The Road Map® Series step-by-step guides help people break through the confusion of big, messy situations. We believe that knowing where to start makes all the difference. The core of the Road Map® Series is the five-point Guiding Star that helps people chart a direct path from confusion to results wherever they must travel to find services and support.
“Problems change, programs change, procedures change—but the Guiding Star, like the North Star, DOESN’T change. The five steps help people learn the mindset and skill set they need to manage ANY problem and navigate ANY system.”
-Wendy Besmann, author of Family Road Map and Young Adult Road Map
